A Summer of Music, Community, and Connection in Downtown Frederick

If you’ve ever spent a summer evening along Carroll Creek in Downtown Frederick, you know there’s nothing quite like the energy of Alive @ Five. The sound of live music echoing through the city, friends catching up over food and drinks, and the golden hour glow reflecting off the water all create a scene that feels unmistakably local. 

At ACNB Bank, we were proud to serve as the Presenting Sponsor of this year’s Alive @ Five concert series with the Downtown Frederick Partnership. For us, it was more than a sponsorship. It was a way to celebrate what makes Frederick so special — community, creativity, and connection.

A Frederick Tradition We Love Supporting

Alive @ Five has become one of the area’s most anticipated summer traditions, drawing people downtown every Thursday evening from May through September. Each week features a new local or regional band, delicious food and drinks from nearby businesses, and an atmosphere that perfectly captures the charm of Frederick. Our team members joined in throughout the summer, meeting concertgoers, handing out giveaways and ice cream, volunteering to work the event, and simply enjoying the evening right alongside our neighbors. Seeing so many familiar faces and making new connections reminded us why we love being part of this community.
