To help celebrate community banking month, we are holding a Free Drive-Thru Shred Day for our customers on April 10. Protect your identity without leaving the car!

April 10, 2021 • 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 noon

What is Shred Day?
Shred Day is an opportunity for you to protect your identity by safely destroying old documents and items with your personal information on them. The Bank partners with All-Shred, a local shredding company, to make sure everything is destroyed properly.
Pay It Forward
We know how much our customers care about our local community! This event is an opportunity for all of us to lend a helping hand to others by donating paper goods, cleaning supplies and personal hygiene items to benefit local residents served by The Arc of Frederick County. Suggested items include:
- Paper towels, tissues, napkins, toilet paper
- Bathroom and kitchen cleaning products, laundry detergent, dishwashing liquid
- Soap, toothpaste, toothbrushes, shampoo, deodorant
Safety Guidelines and What to Expect
Prior to arrival, please place all shred materials and any donations for The Arc of Frederick County in the trunk of your vehicle to help maintain proper social distancing with those who will serve you. You will be asked to remain in your vehicle for the duration of this activity. Masks are required.
Upon arrival, we’ll greet you at the Bank tent and then you’ll drive up to the truck where staff members from the Bank and All-Shred will help load your documents into big recycling bins. At this point, you are good to go and continue with your day.

What You Can Shred
You may bring up to five computer paper boxes (approximately 15 x 12 x 10 inches) of household confidential documents such as those that contain highly personal, financial and medical information. Please call our Customer Contact Center Monday through Friday between the hours of 8 a.m. and 5 p.m. or visit your Bank Office to select an arrival time and provide an estimate of how many boxes you will bring. Register by April 6 to avoid being turned down if the shredding truck fills to capacity.
