ACNB Bank celebrated the opening of the Upper Adams Office with a ribbon cutting ceremony held on Thursday, October 20, 2022. This new, full-service community banking office, located at 3425 Biglerville Road, Biglerville, PA, opened for business on Monday, October 17, 2022.
“After years of planning and nine months of construction, ACNB Bank’s staff members were truly excited to officially open the doors and welcome customers and friends to the new Upper Adams Office on Monday morning! This new location was designed with the customer in mind from the layout of the lobby and the drive-up to the deployment of the technology---all with the intent to streamline and enhance the customer experience,” said James P. Helt, ACNB Corporation and ACNB Bank President & Chief Executive Officer.
“We are proud of this modern, full-service office to serve the entire Upper Adams community. Throughout its 165-year history, ACNB Bank has engaged in a variety of similar construction projects whenever it saw the opportunity and merit to invest in local communities. This project, with costs exceeding $2 million, represents a continuation of that longstanding commitment to local investment,” he added.
The new Upper Adams Office offers enhanced services and conveniences including ample parking, multiple drive-up teller lanes and drive-up ATM. Further, commercial, residential mortgage and consumer loans, as well as wealth management services, are accessible through this new office location.
In conjunction with the ribbon cutting ceremony, ACNB Bank presented a check to the Upper Adams Food Pantry to commemorate the occasion and, more importantly, to support this valuable community organization. Additionally, ACNB Bank is hosting a prize drawing featuring gift cards to local businesses and providing refreshments and gift items for customers and guests visiting the office during the first two weeks. A Grand Opening Community Celebration is planned for Saturday, October 22, 2022, to welcome young savers with a pumpkin decorating activity and seasonal treats.
Ashley L. Cooley, Community Banking Manager, is responsible for the overall management of ACNB Bank’s Upper Adams Office. She is joined by Melissa A. Pritt, Community Banking Supervisor, who is responsible for the day-to-day supervision of the community banking staff at the office. Other staff members at the new location include Community Banking Specialists Melissa S. Dick and Stacy G. Dunlap, as well as Community Banking Associates Linda R. Asper, Carol F. Lua, Courtenay A. Lesniak, Mikaela K. Scott and Kelly M. Starner.
ACNB Bank commemorated the opening of the new Upper Adams Office with a Grand Opening Celebration Reception on Wednesday, November 9, 2022. During the evening’s festivities, the Bank presented a $5,000 check to the Upper Adams Canner Funds to support the Greenhouse Project that will benefit Biglerville High School students and the local agribusiness community for many years. On hand to mark the occasion were Michelle Miller, Biglerville High School Agriculture Educator; Courtney Smith, Apple City FFA Student Advisor; Caden Kessel, Apple City FFA President; Dr. Wesley Doll, Upper Adams School District Superintendent; James Helt, ACNB Bank President & Chief Executive Officer; Phil Wagner, Biglerville Borough Mayor and Upper Adams Canner Funds Advisory Board President; Ashley Cooley, ACNB Bank Community Banking Manager; and, Wayne Steinour, ACNB Bank Senior Vice President/Agribusiness Lending Manager.
