ACNB Bank SVP/Regional Sales Manager Lisa Monthley and South Hanover Community Banking Specialist Linda Sanders recently visited with more than 130 first grade students at Alloway Creek Elementary School in Littlestown, PA. Lisa and Linda explained the difference between needs and wants, goods and services, and the importance of saving money. They read a story to the children and led two games that encouraged student participation.

ACNB Bank’s Buckley mascot made a surprise appearance at the end of the assembly because the children were so well behaved. First grade students, and any child through age 12, may open a Buckley’s Savers to start on the path to good saving habits. Parents may enroll their children in this account at any ACNB Bank Office.
