1. What is your ACNB Bank story?
I have been in banking for 35 years, starting as a part time teller. I have been a teller, desk person and manager. I joined the Bank in September of 2019. I started here as a Specialist I in the Taneytown branch, then Specialist II and now I am a Branch Manager at the New Windsor branch.
2. What do you love about working here?
I love working with my team “family”, everyone works together. You can always count on others (branches) being flexible to help you out when needed. We also have an awesome team of business partners to work with. They strive to give the same 5-star service as we do. I can’t forget about the customers. I thoroughly enjoy helping our customers/community with any banking needs they may have, or just having those casual catch up talks.
3. What activities do you enjoy doing outside of the office?
I enjoy taking walks and spending time with friends and family.
4. Why should people bank at a community bank?
Banking with a community bank is so much nicer. You get those friendly, familiar faces when you walk into a branch, giving you personal service. (No automated or video) We are dedicated to giving our best services and products to suit each and every need. We support our clients and our communities.
5. What are some of your favorite local activities or restaurants?
A friend of mine took me to a painting class, and I really enjoyed it. I look forward to doing it again. My favorite restaurants are Texas Roadhouse and Olive Garden.
