1. What is your ACNB story?
I started with ACNB in December of 2021 in our Item Processing/Document Imaging department as a Document Imaging Representative! I really loved my IP/DI team and getting to learn the backside of Nautilus while also learning about the banking industry as a whole. In February of 2023, I moved to the Human Resources department and became the HR Assistant! It has been the best 9 months so far with this team and I can’t wait to keep growing with ACNB!
2. What do you love about working here?
ACNB really is a family feel. Everyone is so kind and ready to help with whatever they can! ACNB not only values their customers but their employees as well and you feel that working here! I also love that ACNB wants you to learn and grow within your career and because of that they offer a lot of tools and opportunities to help you do so!
3. What activities do you enjoy doing outside of the office?
I love getting outside whenever I can! I love hiking and luckily, I live close to the mid-way point of the Appalachian Trail to be able to do so! I also love traveling and just recently got to visit Disney World with my family! And I love volunteering when I can and ACNB provides a lot of opportunities to do so, like our yearly “Shred Event Day” that I’ve gotten to volunteer for in the past!
4. Why should people bank at a community bank?
People should bank at a community bank because you get just that, a community! A community of people who know you and value you. The world is constantly changing and everything is quickly becoming electronic. A lot of the big banks are going teller less and, instead of a human helping you, you do all your banking through a computer. With community banking you get real people. You don’t get a screen but instead a smiling familiar face that is ready and eager to help you!
5. What are some of your favorite local activities or restaurants?
I love spending time with my family and especially my husband. We love sports! We love the Philadelphia Phillies and the Buffalo Bills! And we love to golf and our favorite place to play is right up the road from us at Piney Apple in Biglerville!
