ACNB Bank Customers Embrace Holiday Toy Drive
The spirit of giving was alive and well at ACNB Bank’s 14 retail banking offices located in Adams County and Hanover this holiday season.
A total of 404 new, unwrapped toys were collected to benefit the many local families served by Holiday Family Outreach, an all-volunteer organization bringing Christmas to low-income families and the elderly in the Adams County area since 1953. Last year, 330 toys were collected through this bank activity.
“We’re grateful to ACNB Bank’s customers for their participation in this year’s toy collection,” said Ruth Topper, Holiday Family Outreach Board Chairperson. “With assistance requested from 750 families and 800 seniors this year, these donations will contribute greatly to each family’s Christmas joy.”
ACNB Bank made a $300 contribution in support of this special holiday initiative and the Bank’s employees hosted a business casual day that raised an additional $730.
“Holiday Family Outreach does so much good for those in need in our community,” said James P. Helt, ACNB Bank President. “Our team is committed to doing everything we can to help make a difference in the lives of others within the communities we serve.”
