ACNB Bank hosts food drive to benefit Upper Adams Food Pantry

Local residents and customers of ACNB Bank may donate nonperishable food items to benefit the Upper Adams Food Pantry during the month of February at the Bank’s Arendtsville, Bendersville and Biglerville Offices.

The Upper Adams Food Pantry has been serving the Upper Adams School District area for more than 22 years, and currently serves 35-40 families twice every month. The organization reported the number of families served over the past year has nearly doubled.

“I am pleased that ACNB Bank is serving as a food drive collection site at the Arendtsville, Bendersville and Biglerville Offices. The local community has been generous with donations of non-perishable food items in the past and we are confident that this food drive will be no exception. I was excited to learn that ACNB Bank made a $250 donation to the Upper Adams Food Pantry to help kick off the food drive,” Phil Wagner, Upper Adams Food Pantry Logistics Coordinator, said.

Local residents and customers may stop by any of the ACNB Bank offices in Upper Adams during business hours to pick up a grocery list of items needed by the Upper Adams Food Pantry. The food drive runs through February 28.
