COMPUTER EQUIPMENT RECYCLING

On Saturday, November 1, the Bank held its first ever Computer Equipment Recycling Event. This event, along with the Shred Event in September, tied in nicely with the Bank's “Go Green” Home Equity promotion in place at the time. Partnering with the Department of Environmental Services of Adams County and The Computer Barn in Carlisle, the Bank accepted donations of old computers, printers and other related accessories. The Computer Barn recycles the equipment with other third party vendors. About 5.9 tons of equipment was collected that day, which included 172 monitors and 163 PCs.
