BUSINESS EXPO

Farmers National Bank of Newville staff members recently participated in two Newville community events. May 31 marked the First Annual Business Expo held in Newville. It was organized by a Newville area business called 2 Tired 2 Cook, who worked with the radio station Country 105.2 FM to publicize the event. The Bank was joined by several local businesses and organizations who participated in the Expo. During the Expo, canned goods were collected for donation to the Big Spring Food Bank. In addition, the food bank was the recipient of a portion of the proceeds raised from the Expo. Much interaction was enjoyed by all at this community event.

FOUNTAIN FESTIVAL

The Fountain Festival in Newville was held on June 19 and 20. Farmers National Bank of Newville not only had a booth for people to visit and register for a drawing, but also sponsored Saturday's musical entertainment. Friday night's highlight was the parade and the street dance. The Fountain Festival is an annual event and the proceeds raised benefit various Newville community projects and organizations.
