BOWL FOR KIDS SAKE

2008 marked the third year the Bank fielded teams for Bowl for Kids' Sake, a fundraising event organized by and for the benefit of Big Brothers Big Sisters of York and Adams Counties. Due to an even greater response and support from employees, 16 teams of five employees each participated---nine teams at Gilley's in Biglerville and seven at South Hanover Lanes. The teams raised an amazing $5,633.65 for Big Brothers Big Sisters. Thanks go out to Jeff Pottorff who coordinated the Bank's efforts, as well as all the employees who participated.

2008 HOME SHOWS

Bank staff members participated in both the Adams County Builder’s Association Home Show and the Hanover Exchange Club Builder’s Home and Garden Show again this year. The Hanover Show began March 5 and continued through March 8,and the Adams County Show took place on March 14-15. The booths displayed a simple but effective theme incorporating our commitment to independence and also touching on various Bank products including the checking promotion in place at that time. Event attendees had an opportunity register for a chance to win a hi-definition television.
