Applications Analyst

An Applications Analyst is responsible for supporting the Bank's new and existing applications systems, including core processing systems, ancillary processing systems, and related interfaces; providing support to users of various software applications and responding to employee questions; analyzing problems with software, tracking and monitoring reported issues, and acting as the liaison with software vendors; researching solutions to comply with regulatory changes; conducting learning sessions on an as needed basis for software applications; executing test plans and scripts for new software releases and upgrades; implementing new products; and, maintaining appropriate records and providing assigned reports. The Applications Analyst will report to the Systems Manager.

Requirements for this position include moderate reading, writing, and grammar skills; proficient mathematics skills; proficient interpersonal relations and communicative skills; proficient analytical skills and problem-solving ability; proficient computer skills, including a thorough knowledge of Microsoft Windows, Word, Excel and Outlook; thorough knowledge of the Bank's deposit and loan products; ability to create customer reports using AS/400 query or other report writing tools; and, visual and auditory skills.

A minimum of two (2) years experience in related positions normally required.

Network Specialist

A Network Specialist is responsible for performing various duties to support the Bank's PC network; installing and relocating computer systems without disrupting normal workflow, performing installations after normal business hours; assisting in the staffing of the Help Desk; supporting users regarding system usage and problem resolution; maintaining inventory records of all hardware and software, to include acquisition dates, model number, version, etc., maintaining a list of installed software, and maintaining software licenses; creating and deleting user access and resources; placing service calls with third party vendors when necessary; placing orders for new and/or enhancements to voice and data lines; purchasing and repairing various technical equipment within prescribed authority; and, assisting the Network Manager and Network Administrator as required.

Requirements for this position include moderate reading, writing, and grammar skills; proficient mathematics skills; proficient analytical skills and problem-solving ability; thorough knowledge of personal computer applications and operations; proficient interpersonal relations and communicative skills; ability to stand, stoop, bend, climb and lift items weighing up to fifty (50) pounds; visual and auditory skills; and, valid driver's license.

A minimum of two (2) years experience in related positions normally required. An Associates degree in MIS or related degree preferred.
