GETTYSBURG, PA, November 26---A food drive to benefit the Big Spring Area Food Bank was recently completed by ACNB Bank in Newville. During the food drive, a total of 125 pounds of food was collected. "We're grateful to ACNB Bank for having the food drive and very pleased with the results," commented Margaret Butts, an active volunteer for the Big Spring Area Food Bank. "People in the Newville community have been so generous. It comes at just the right time to help needy families during the holidays."

ACNB Bank also made a $300 contribution to the Big Spring Area Food Bank. "The Big Spring Area Food Bank is so essential for those in our community who go hungry every night," said Douglas R. Lindsay, Retail Office Manager of ACNB Bank's Newville Office. "We're glad to support such a worthwhile organization."
