KAREN B. ARTHUR PROMOTED AT ACNB BANK

GETTYSBURG, PA, May 18 --- Karen B. Arthur has been promoted to Senior Trust Officer at ACNB Bank, and continues as a member of the Bank's management team as First Vice President. In the role of Senior Trust Officer, Mrs. Arthur is responsible for overseeing all aspects of the Bank's Trust & Investment Services department, including operations and supervising department staff members. She also continues to work with trust clients in matters that involve personal trusts, estates, guardianships, and agency accounts.

Mrs. Arthur originally joined the Bank in 2001, and since that time has received periodic promotions of increasing responsibility. She has an associate degree from Central Pennsylvania College, and over the years has enhanced her knowledge of trust and legal matters in a number of ways. Mrs. Arthur is a graduate of the Pennsylvania Bankers Association's Central Atlantic School of Trust, as well as the Cannon Financial Institute of Investment Management and Personal Trust Sales School. In addition, she has completed courses in estates, trusts and legal research at the Mont Alto Campus of Pennsylvania State University.

In the local community, Mrs. Arthur is a member of the Board of Directors for the American Heart Association. She is also a past founding board member of Gettysburg Area Dollars for Scholars, and continues to actively volunteer with the organization. Further, she previously served on Central Pennsylvania College's Education Foundation Board of Trustees. A lifelong resident of Gettysburg, Mrs. Arthur and her husband, Tom, have two daughters---Christina and Melissa.
