ADAMS COUNTY NATIONAL BANK
 ANNOUNCES STAFF PROMOTIONS

GETTYSBURG, Pa., July 27 ---- Several staff members of Adams County National Bank received promotions at year-end 2006. David W. Cathell works as Senior Vice President & Chief Financial Officer. In this role, Mr. Cathell is responsible for the tabulation and preparation of the Corporation's monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements and reports. In addition, he oversees the finance and accounting services areas. He joined the Bank in October 2005 as First Vice President & Controller and has worked in a managerial/officer position in the finance area of banking for over 20 years. Mr. Cathell earned a bachelor of science degree in accounting and political science from Frostburg State University in Maryland. He is a member of the American Institute of Certified Professional Accountants (AICPA), as well as past president of the Western Maryland Chapter of the Maryland Association of Certified Professional Accountants (MACPA). In addition, Mr. Cathell is a member of the Garret County Historical Society in Maryland, as well as the Western Maryland Railway Historical Society. Mr. Cathell and his wife, Jill, reside in Mechanicsburg. They have two children---Matthew and Katie.

Sandra A. Deaner is now Senior Vice President & Human Resources Manager. In this position, Mrs. Deaner oversees the following: recruiting, hiring and staffing efforts; payroll; benefits, wage and salary administration; employee policies and procedures; training and development; job descriptions; performance appraisals; affirmative action program and, employee communications. For more than 25 years, Mrs. Deaner has been employed by the Bank in various operational and retail banking positions. She earned a bachelor of science degree in office administration from Shippensburg University, and has continued her education through banking courses offered by the American Institute of Banking (AIB). Further, she has attended the Graduate School of Banking Human Resource Management School at the University of Wisconsin, as well as completed the Dale Carnegie Course, the Professional Human Resource Management program through the Society for Human Resource Management, and earned the Senior Professional in Human Resources certification. Mrs. Deaner is affiliated with several area human resource organizations, including Gettysburg Area Personnel Association-in which she serves as Vice President, Hanover Area Human Resource Association, York Society for Human Resource Management, Pennsylvania Financial Industry Human Resources Association, and Society for Human Resource Management. In addition, she serves on the wine festival committee and the Policy and By-Laws Committee of the Gettysburg Adams Chamber of Commerce. Mrs. Deaner and her husband, David, reside in Gettysburg. They have two sons-Michel and Eric.

Paul H. Ketterman, Jr. serves as Senior Vice President & Senior Trust Officer. In this role, Mr. Ketterman oversees all aspects of the Trust area, as well as serves the needs of Trust clients in the areas of estate settlement, trust administration, and investment management. He joined the Bank in 2001 as Vice President & Trust Officer. He has 50 years of banking experience, including 35 years associated with trusts. He has completed the Pennsylvania Bankers Association Trust School at Bucknell University, as well as the Kennedy Sinclair Trust School. In addition, he has furthered his banking education via many American Institute of Banking (AIB) courses. In the local community, Mr. Ketterman is involved with many local organizations, including the Adams County Historical Society, Evergreen Cemetery Association, Gettysburg High School Alumni Association, Gettysburg Warrior Stadium Committee, Gettysburg Hospital, Gettysburg Presbyterian Church, Gettysburg Rotary Club, Interfaith Men's Fellowship, and Lincoln Fellowship of Pennsylvania. A native of Adams County, Mr. Ketterman resides in Gettysburg with his wife, Hatty. They have three children---Kim, Kevin and Kent---as well as nine grandchildren.

Dorothy K. Puhl is now Senior Vice President & Information Systems Manager. In this capacity, Mrs. Puhl is responsible for the overall management of the Bank's information systems and technology, including the related functions of computer operations and output, item processing and network administration. She joined the Bank as a teller over 30 years ago and has served in a variety of roles since that time. Mrs. Puhl earned a bachelor of arts degree in English from Pennsylvania State University. She has completed many banking courses offered by AIB, as well as served as an instructor for a number of AIB courses. Mrs. Puhl is the chairperson of CBS Worldwide User Group. In addition, she is a member of the Penn State Alumni Association of Adams County and a volunteer for the American Heart Association. Mrs. Puhl and her husband, Edward, reside in Gettysburg.

L. John Hicks, as First Vice President & Consumer Loan Manager, oversees the operational aspects of the consumer loan area, as well as supervises the Bank's consumer loan officers and departmental staff. In addition, he serves customers who desire a consumer loan, including home equity, automobile, education, debt consolidation and unsecured loans. Mr. Hicks originally joined the Bank in 1997 as Assistant Vice President/Consumer Lending. He has over 25 years of consumer lending experience. Mr. Hicks has a bachelor of science degree in business administration, with a major in accounting from Geneva College in Beaver Falls, PA. Mr. Hicks has been involved with various non-profit organizations over the years, including United Cerebral Palsy of Southcentral PA. He is currently a member of Gettysburg United Methodist Church. Mr. Hicks and his wife, Linda, reside in New Oxford. They have three children----Benjamin, Scott and Sarah.

Kathy S. Hansel is now Vice President & Controller. In this position, Mrs. Hansel manages the accounting department to ensure proper controls are in place for bank accounting finance and related activities, as well as supervises staff members in the department. She originally joined the Bank in June 2004 as Tax & Accounting Services Officer, and overall has eight years of accounting experience. Mrs. Hansel earned a bachelor degree in accounting from Bloomsburg University. She is a member of the American Institute of Certified Professional Accountants (AICPA). Mrs. Hansel resides in Dover with her husband, Nick, and four children---Nathan, Sarah, Jeremy and Alan.
