STAFF PROMOTIONS AT
 ADAMS COUNTY NATIONAL BANK

GETTYSBURG, Pa., January 14 --- Several staff members received promotions in June 2007. Karen B. Arthur is now Assistant Vice President & Trust Officer. Mrs. Arthur works with Trust clients and is responsible for handling all aspects of personal trusts, estates, guardianships and agency accounts. She originally joined the Bank's Trust department in 2001. Mrs. Arthur earned an associate degree from Central Pennsylvania College, and over the years has enhanced her knowledge of trust and legal matters. She is a graduate of the Pennsylvania Bankers Association's (PBA) Central Atlantic School of Trust, as well as Cannon Financial Institute of Investment Management and Personal Trust Sales School. In addition, she has completed coursework in estates, trusts and legal research at the Mont Alto Campus of Pennsylvania State University. In the local community, Mrs. Arthur is a board member of Gettysburg Area Dollars for Scholars, as well as volunteers with the American Heart Association. A lifelong resident of Gettysburg, she and her husband, Tom have two daughters---Christina and Melissa.

Jane E. Gwyn serves as Assistant Vice President & Business Banking Officer. In this role, Ms. Gwyn promotes the Bank's ancillary Business Services, such as FRED-Fast Remote Electronic Deposit, Business Internet Banking, Cash Management Accounts, and Merchant Services, to area businesses. To ensure these services are a good fit for the business, Ms. Gwyn will meet with the business owner at his or her place of business, when and where it's convenient for them. Prior to this position, she served as Assistant Vice President & Sales Manager of the Bank's Lincoln Square and West Gettysburg Offices. Ms. Gwyn originally joined the Bank as a teller in June 1989. She has expanded her banking background over the years via American Institute of Banking (AIB) courses, financial sales and customer service courses offered through the Bank, and management and customer service courses at Harrisburg Area Community College (HACC). Ms. Gwyn is active in the local community, serving as a board member of United Way of Adams County, as well as a board member for the American Heart Association. In addition, she is a member of the Kiwanis Club of Gettysburg/Adams and Gettysburg Presbyterian Church. Ms. Gwyn has two daughters, Emily and Erin, and one grandson.

Scott E. Hartlaub is now Assistant Vice President & Network Manager. In this role, Mr. Hartlaub has oversight for the Bank's computer network, as well as all associated operations related to the network. In addition, he supervises the network administration staff members. Mr. Hartlaub has served as the Network Manager for over three years, having joined the Bank in April 2004. Prior to his position at the Bank, Mr. Hartlaub retired from the United States Air Force after 20 years of service. During this time, he specialized in technical and computer systems operations. He completed numerous technical schools in the Air Force, serving as Systems Administrator. Additionally, he is a Microsoft® Certified Systems Engineer. As a member of the local community, Mr. Hartlaub is a member of the Exchange Club of Gettysburg. He resides in Gettysburg with his wife, Jennifer. They have four children: Robert, Kenneth, Jacob and Kathryn.

Beth W. Lesko works as Vice President & Banking Operations Manager. In this role, she oversees various operational areas of the Bank, including Deposit Services and Loan Services. In addition, Mrs. Lesko has oversight of teller operations, and is responsible for coordinating operational initiatives, as well as maintaining and updating the Bank's policies and procedures. She also serves as the Bank's Security Officer. Mrs. Lesko has worked for the Bank for over 32 years, originally joining the Bank as a teller. Over the years, she has received promotions of increasing responsibility. Most recently, she served as Assistant Vice President & Banking Services Assistant Manager. To expand upon her banking knowledge, Mrs. Lesko has taken numerous banking courses through AIB. Mrs. Lesko and her husband Bruce, live in Waynesboro. They have three grown daughters---Jennifer, Julie and Lauren.

Celeste M. Miller is Assistant Vice President & Executive Assistant. In this role, Mrs. Miller serves the needs of executive management of the Bank and assists them with a wide array of duties. In addition, she works with the Board of Directors on a variety of matters. Mrs. Miller has worked as Executive Assistant for four years. She originally joined the Bank in 1985, and over the years has served in positions of increasing responsibility. Mrs. Miller has furthered her knowledge through several banking courses through AIB, as well as computer courses at HACC. In the local community, Mrs. Miller is involved with the Upper Adams Middle School PTO, and serves the organization as secretary. She and her husband, Doug, reside in Gardners. They have one daughter---Chelsea.

Wendy M. Roth serves as Assistant Vice President & Market Sales Manager. In this role, she oversees the sales efforts for the Bank's northwest market area. In addition, she supervises several staff members. Mrs. Roth joined the Bank in 2005 as Sales Manager for the Bank's Adams Commerce Center Office. She previously worked as the regional operations manager for Adecco. She earned an associate degree in business from the Consolidated School of Business. She's expanded her banking and sales knowledge via a banking course offered by Pennsylvania Bankers Association-Professional Development Network (PBA-PDN), as well as sales courses offered by the Bank. Mrs. Roth is involved in Make-A-Wish Foundation. A native of Adams County, Mrs. Roth and her husband, Derek, reside in East Berlin. They have two children---Bryce and Kaylee.

Christine R. Settle is now Assistant Vice President & Trust Officer. Mrs. Settle works with Trust clients and is responsible for managing all aspects of personal trusts, estates, guardianships and agency accounts. She has worked in the Bank's Trust department for over 11 years, beginning as a Trust Administrative Assistant in 1996. Throughout her career in Trust, Mrs. Settle has received promotions with increased responsibility, and began account administration duties over eight years ago. She originally joined the Bank in 1992 as a teller. She has expanded her trust background, having graduated from the PBA's Central Atlantic School of Trust, as well as Cannon Financial Institute of Investment Management and Personal Trust Sales School. In addition, she has earned the American Bankers Association (ABA) Securities Skills Certificate and the ABA Building Trust Expertise Certificate via the completion of many trust and securities-related courses. Currently, Mrs. Settle is completing preparatory classwork for the Certified Trust and Financial Advisor (CTFA) exam, in order to earn the CTFA designation. In the local community, Mrs. Settle is a member of the board of directors of the Adams County SPCA, as well as is a member of F.O.E. #1562 of Gettysburg Ladies Auxiliary. She resides in York Springs with her husband, Douglas. She has two grown step-children, Bruce and Sara.

Debra T. Sites works as Vice President & Business Banking Manager. She is responsible for new business development, as well as the servicing of commercial customers for ancillary business banking services, including Business Internet Banking, FRED-Fast Remote Electronic Deposit (the Bank's remote deposit capture service), Cash Management Services, and Merchant Services. In addition, she has oversight of the Bank's Internet Banking service with responsibility for the relationship with the Bank's Internet Banking vendor. Ms. Sites has worked for the Bank for over 15 years, originally joining the Bank as a teller in 1992. Throughout her career at the Bank, she has been promoted to positions of increased responsibility, most recently serving as Assistant Vice President & Internet Banking Manager. Over the years, she has taken numerous courses to expand upon her banking and business knowledge, including various sales courses, banking loan and supervisory courses through AIB, Internet Banking services and administration courses through Digital Insight, real estate, marketing and supervisory courses through HACC, and the H & R Block Income Tax Certificate course. An active volunteer with the Gettysburg Adams Chamber of Commerce, Ms. Sites serves as the Co-Chairperson of the Basket Bingo Committee, as well as is a member of the Membership Committee and Wine and Music Festival committees. In addition, she is a member of the Carroll Valley Citizens Association. A native of Adams County, Ms. Sites resides in Carroll Valley. She has two sons, George and David, as well as four grandchildren.
